WALKS

We can take you out for a walk around our camp for a half-day (lunch at the restaurant) or a full one (with lunch in the bush).

Search and spot animals and their tracksa walking safari is quite different from watching animals out of a jeep; you’ll experience a greater spectrum of emotions during such encounters.

If you are in good condition you can take a guided hike up the Ngorongoro escarpment along the ‘Elephant trail’. Elephants occasionally come down to Selela forest from Ngorongoro to search for special plants, water or to raid banana fields. If we hadn’t witnessed the trail ourselves, we would never believe how these huge 3,000 to 5,000 kg animals could pass through such steep inclines, sharp corners, and tight squeezes between huge boulders.
