Tarangire National Park can be chock full of wildlife, depending on the season. When one side of the plain is dry, all animals move to the marshes; and when rains bless the plains then the whole area is an animal paradise. Tarangire has over 550 (!) species of birds, the highest count of any Tanzanian park. It’s most famous for its elephants and gigantic baobabs
